Do you take time to get out in raw nature?

Autumn is here! My daughter and I were taking a long nature hike and towards the end we were greeted by a profusion of gloriously radiant and cheerful yellow blooms.

We were amazed at how many there were in this vast meadow. The peace that enveloped us as we gazed on their beauty, was unexplainable. I stood in awe at the incredible ingenuity of our creator.

Over thousands of years, God has used his fascinating creation to bring His tangible presence to us. You can read in past poems, stories and even in the Bible of people who were profoundly changed by the creation that surrounds them. I personally become more alive and feel so close to God out in raw nature.

Do you know Goldenrods have a long reputation for generating abundance, encouragement and love?

They also have been used for medicinal purposes as well.

A quote from John Muir explains this beautiful flower well: “The fragrance, color, and form of the whole spiritual expression of Goldenrod are hopeful and strength-giving beyond any others I know. A single spike is sufficient to heal unbelief and melancholy.”

– John Muir

With the horrendous things going on in our world today, I would like to encourage you to take time to get out in raw nature everyday. Let the wind of His spirit speak to you. Let His fragrance of true unconditional love envelop you, let the pure air intoxicate you and bring healing to every part of your being, and let the sun boost your serotonin, so that you will keep calm, positive, and focused.

It’s not the creation itself doing the healing, it’s the Creator using his very own creation to revive you, restore you, and refresh your weary soul ❤️❤️

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”

-Job 12: 7-10
